INSTRUCTOR DEANNA SHUMAN
Spend the day creating a beautiful, professional-looking barn quilt with artist Deanna Shuman of Deanna’s Delightful Barn Quilt Designs. In this hands-on folk art workshop, Deanna will guide you through painting your chosen quilt pattern from start to finish.
Choose from an extensive collection of geometric and traditional quilt-block designs, select your project size, and create a custom color palette to complement your home, porch, barn, or garden. Patterns are pre-drawn on the panels, eliminating the stress of measuring and taping while still giving you complete creative freedom with your colors.
Unlike traditional heavy wooden barn quilts, these designs are painted on lightweight, durable aluminum composite panels. The finished pieces are weather-resistant and ready to display outdoors on a house, fence, porch, or barn—or indoors as a striking piece of folk art.
All paint, brushes, tools, and materials are provided. By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a completed barn quilt made in the pattern, size, and colors you selected.
Project Size & Design Selection
Registration includes a 2FT x 2 FT project. Participants who would like a larger project may upgrade to a 3x3 or 4x4 size for an additional fee.

3ft × 3ft Additional $50
4ft x 4ft Additional $150
Before the workshop, participants will need to select their preferred design from a follow-up email from The Heritage Farm. Please choose your pattern by February 1, 2027 to allow enough time for materials to be prepared. Designs selected after the deadline may not be able to be accommodated.
