A place to learn with your hands, gather in good company, and carry old skills forward.
Tucked here at The Heritage Farm, our Folk School is a place where slowing down is part of the lesson. Where hands get a little dirty, tools are meant to be used, and learning feels more like gathering than sitting still.
We believe the best knowledge is passed person to person—through stories, shared work, and time spent together.

Come As You Are
You don’t need to know what you’re doing—that’s what you’re here for.
We offer classes for everyone—Little Folks and Grown Folks alike—because there’s always something new to learn at the farm.
Whether you come on your own or bring a friend, you’ll leave with something real:
a skill, a memory, and maybe a little more confidence than you arrived with.
A Note from the Farm
Our Folk School was built to preserve the arts and trades that have been passed down for generations. Our instructors have become craftsmen through years of doing—learning by trying, figuring things out, and sometimes doing things the hard way.
It’s our hope to carry forward old-world trades, crafts, and skills by passing them down the way they were learned—through time, practice, and steady hands.
Here, you’ll learn from instructors who have spent years doing the work themselves and are ready to share it with others who are curious and willing to try.
We’re so glad you found your way here.
