This hands-on workshop introduces participants to the art and fundamentals of herbal tea blending in a simple, approachable, and engaging way. Students will learn about commonly used herbs, how different herbs work together within a blend, and how to create teas for everyday enjoyment and wellness support.

What You'll Learn

  • An introduction to herbal teas and practical everyday herbal use

  • Understanding the key components of a balanced tea blend:

    • Foundational Herbs – the primary base of the blend

    • Supportive Herbs – herbs that complement and enhance the blend's purpose

    • Accent & Flavor Herbs – herbs that add character, aroma, and taste

  • Exploration of several beginner-friendly herbs, including:

    • Flavor profiles

    • Traditional uses

    • Aroma and energetics

    • Blending compatibility

Each participant will receive a take-home handout covering the herbs and concepts discussed during class.

Hands-On Tea Blending Experience

Participants will create and take home three custom herbal tea blends. The instructor will introduce three sample blends—a Calming Blend, a Nourishing Blend, and an Energy Blend—to demonstrate different blending approaches. Participants are encouraged to follow these examples or create their own unique combinations.

Discussion & Questions

The workshop will conclude with an open discussion and Q&A session, providing participants with an opportunity to ask questions and further explore the world of herbal tea blending.
